- 96% lean ground beef
- Canned no-salt added tomatoes
- Canned no-salt added corn
- Canned no-salt added kidney beans
- Low sodium taco seasoning pack
Drain all canned items and rinse before mixing them in the crock pot with 2 cups of water (more or less based on preference). Cook ground beef and sprinkle 1/4-1/3 of the taco seasoning on it and blend. Pour into the crock pot and give it a good stir to mix everything together. Sprinkle 1/2 of the remaining seasoning and stir again. Then sprinkle in the remaining seasoning stirring the mixture one last time. Allow it to simmer all day on low-medium.
